VR - Virtual Reality
VR is truly virtual reality. It gives users such a feeling of a reality that their brain can’t even comprehend what’s going on. Virtual Reality has opened up a door to a whole new world of opportunities. It can be used in almost every field.
For education,
VR brings the newest technology to the classrooms. It is used to enhance the
learning process and engagement. VR education can make use of created worlds or
real worlds adapted to VR programs. Because the students will get the sense of
actually being in that place, they’ll enjoy and get invested in the lessons.
For
example, we can project a street in London to the VR goggles of our students
and they can feel excited to be there, learn and discover. We can also make
them do a task in VR; we wouldn’t be able to in real life. They can give a
speech while surfing or make their presentations in front of the Big Ben. They
can learn by doing and develop creativity. VR can also help distant learners
get together and practice collaboratively.
