Vidcast

In the previous post, we've talked about podcasts and language learning. In this post we'll be talking about vidcasts/vodcasts.

So what are vidcasts? They're podcasts, but with visuals. They're also called vodcasts and videocasts. Using vidcasts, we can make a podcast very effective because we can add different types of visuals on the screen. For language learners, they can listen to us talking and seeing us, or a related image on the screen at the same time! So, we can say that vidcasts have a plus side because they're both visual and audial.
