Language Learning Apps

Mondly, Busuu, Memrise, Duolingo are some of the apps that we can use to learn different languages. Learning a language is something people of all ages wish to do, so they’re used by millions of people all around the world. We can start learning from the beginning and with practice, make great progression. Educators can use them as well. Students can practice what they’ve learned in class, on these apps. Duolingo for example, makes use of translating, listening and writing for language teaching. Because it makes use of different skills, learning becomes efficient. Here’s a screenshot I’ve captured. A Turkish speaker learning English on Duolingo encounters this activity. It has the English sentence and you can listen to it. You have to form the correct sentence in Turkish, selecting from many different words (some incorrect) to complete it.
